Join us January 23rd at Noon for a guided workshop - or if you can't make it stop in during walk in hours AFTER the class for a kit or create in the studio. We'll have your new shutter and custom stencil (or 3D cut letters) ready to customize for a beautiful, updated front porch!  Perfect for Spring!  We aim for a fun, lighthearted atmosphere perfect for friends to gather or for you to come in alone and create something beautiful.

We have dozens of paint colors and LOTS of stain colors ready for you to customize the look of your project.  All supplies are included in the cost of the workshop and colors can be picked the day of the event.

Beyond coloring, you can choose how you want the word "HOME" to display.  You can leave it as is, or swap the "O" out for one of the fun symbols - all for the included price!  If you'd like to add some 3D texture to your project, you can also choose to swap out the "O" for one of our many wreaths for an additional $10.  Wreaths are able to be removed and swapped out for another style to suite the season and your taste.  You may pick from the wreaths the day of the workshop.  

This year we are adding a limited quantity of 3D shutters.  These shutters have been pre-stained with a weather resistant, natural colored stain.  However, you could add a color of paint to them if you choose.  The letters H, M and E will be cut from 1/4" wood and attached to the shutter and the O will be filled with your choice of wreath.

As you order, please remember to enter your last name and est date in the personalization section so we can prepare your stencil.  Note: 3D shutters do not have stencils so they cannot have customized names and dates.

We'd love for you to join us in the workshop, but if you are not free that day, this is a project that can be ordered and completed during open paint hours or taken home as a to-go project any day AFTER the scheduled workshop.

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
